Connect With Exceptional ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Talent in a Fast and Simple Program

The Friends of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ program provides a simple, streamlined way to share occasional or one-off job opportunities with ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ students without the complexity of creating a formal corporate employer account. Designed specifically for the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ community, it serves alumni, faculty, and affiliated partners.

Note: This is not intended for high-volume or cyclical recruiters who already have established pathways through the Career Professional Development Center (CPDC).

What are key features of the Friends of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ program?

The Friends of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ program includes three key components:

  • Handshake Page: A dedicated space where all curated job postings are visible to students.
  • Job Posting Form: A quick Qualtrics form to capture essential details like job description, salary, and required majors.
  • Communication: Standardized email updates to keep posters informed throughout the posting process.

How does the posting process work?

Posting a job through Friends of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ is quick and hands-off:

  1. Submit Your Job
Complete the in under 15 minutes. No Handshake login or employer profile required. The CPDC acts strictly as a posting service and does not manage the external roles.

  2. We Post It for You
The CPDC formats your job and publishes it on the Friends of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Handshake page, which is viewable by anyone with a student Handshake account. Jobs typically go live within 1–2 business days and remain active for two weeks.

  3. Students Apply Directly
Applications go straight to you via the email or link you provide in the job description. The CPDC does not screen or manage candidates.

  4. After Posting
When your posting expires, you’ll receive a follow-up email with a list of applicants.
